Cross Bronx Expressway, Parkchester, NY-proposed plan represented in green
As part of a Communication design course, we had partnered with Nilka Martell, the Founder/Director of Loving the Bronx and ten Residents who are a part of the Residency Program in Primary Care and Social Internal Medicine at Montefiore Hospital to collaborate on the “Cap the Cross Bronx Expressway” project. The project aims to communicate the health impacts of the Cross Bronx Expressway and the Capping Project to the stakeholders in accessible language to involve them in the decision-making process.
We facilitated co-design workshops with the Montefiore residents on ways to share awareness on the health impacts of the Cross Bronx Exxpressway.
